Hercules
We have some amazing news to share! Our sweet boy Hercules has officially been adopted by his foster today! 🎉
He fits in perfectly with their other dog and cat, and this family has adored him since day #1. They helped him get back to a healthy weight, gave him patience and stability, but most importantly - showed him how to trust in being loved the way he always deserved.
Watching his transformation has been a beautiful reminder of why fostering saves lives. We truly couldn't be happier for him.

River
River found her family in the most perfect way - instantly! While out adventuring with her foster mom at the park and on a hike, she formed an instant connection and bond. They all just knew she was meant to be theirs.
She now has the best dog dad who is ready to shower her with love and give her the active, adventure-filled life she deserves.
From being found in the desert and nursed back to health, now to living her absolute dream life...we couldn't be happier for you sweet River.

Nimbus
My first experiences in rescue were helping save shelter dogs with upcoming commitment dates from being euthanized through fostering, especially the bigger breeds who don’t often get much of a chance.
Now here we are 5 years later, and I’m saving even more dogs from being euthanized now as a rescue.
Huge shoutout to the incredible foster who stepped up for Nimbus, keeping him safe and happy while he waited to find his forever family.
As luck would have it, he finally found them this weekend. Happy forever Nimbus, you incredibly sweet boy!
This is such a powerful reminder that dogs with commitment dates are truly different dogs entirely once they are out of the shelter. They just need love, time, compassion, patience, and someone willing to say “Yes, I’m here for you”.
Myself and everyone at Hands On Paws Love is very happy to see Nimbus with his new family. This is proof that rescue works. Never give up on them, they would do the same for us.
Milky Way
This beautiful 4-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie Mix came to Hands On Paws Love Dog Rescue on January 4, 2026. She was surrendered by her owner who could no longer take care of her. She stayed hopeful and positive during her time with Ashley Bean, always trusting her in promising to find her a forever home. That dream came true on January 8, 2026, when she met her new mom and they quickly fell in love. Congratulations Milky Way, you have found your perfect forever home. We wish you both all the happiness in the world.
Spot
This sweet and loveable little girl who everyone that has met remembers as one of their favorite in foster care has finally found her perfect forever family.
We couldn't be happier for you Spot, you deserve it. It warms our hearts to see you so happy. It's stories like yours that remind us to never give up and never lose hope.

When Millie saw Queenie on social media needing a foster, she didn’t hesitate — she jumped right in to help. With her knowledge and experience with the bulldog breed, she understood Queenie’s needs and has been so patient and loving with her every step of the way.
